Q[,1- Explain the client requirements of this brief, outlining which are explicit, implicit and open to interpretation?

      promotional video has to be explicit. Must last between 20 and 40 seconds and is open for interpretation. It is aimed at an audience of between the ages of 8 and 14 and is open for interpretation. must be ready launch of the new range in five weeks’ time and is explicit.Shots of the footwear range is explicit.  The name, logo and contact details for the company is explicit. Shots of the target audience in the street with the product is explicit. A range of different camera angles, shots and movement is open for interpretation. A minimum of four clips is explicit. Background music that is up-to-date and appeals to children is open for interpretation.


Q2- What logistical issues can you foresee when creating this video?

      Short length of time – 5 weeks

       Production only 4 weeks as testing required
       Filming outside – weather and availability of locations
       Studio time for shots of the range
       Getting child actors to be able to film at appropriate times
       Getting hold of the product in the right size and ensuring the shots are as good as possible



Q4- Produce a mind map or mood board exploring how the age of the target audience will impact the design/content of the video.
This is a creative and ideas based task but should relate in some way to the needs and interests of children aged 8-14. This may be reflected in colour, genre, narrative, location, music.



Q5- Identify two costs associated with filming the advert for Zoo Shoes and explain how these costs impact on the project

Q7-Identify one type of project management tool that you could use to keep track of the project tasks and explain why it is suitable for this project.

Q8- market research could be used to see what the target audience would like to see and show them bits of the film in a focus group to see if they enjoy it. this would lead to more people watching and purchasing the film because it has a good reputation.
